After falling behind 12-3 in the first half the Houston Mustangs stormed back to get a 36-12 win over Southaven Friday night at home.
The Mustangs scored their first touchdown in the second quarter on a 5-yard run from quarterback Ethan Burns.
Running back Lincoln Pare scored his first of three touchdowns next on a 2-yard redzone rush.
He scored again in the third quarter on a 10-yard run, pushing the lead to 22-12. Pare and Burns would each score another rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter to lead Houston to its first win of the season.
The Mustangs will travel to Memphis Central this Friday. The Warriors are coming off of a touch 13-12 loss against Cordova.
