Utility billing schedule impacted by ransomware attack

The Town of Collierville Information Technology Department has worked around the clock to recover from the July 18 ransomware attack on multiple Town servers.

All impacted servers were isolated and shut down. IT Staff is now working to address urgent needs as they continue to rebuild the information technology system; these priority items include reloading important software for Town business such as public safety and accounting.

With the accounting software restoration, Town of Collierville utility billing is running behind schedule. You will receive your utility bill; however, it will be past your regularly scheduled date. Your utility account will remain in good standing as the Town works to resolve the issue, and we ask for you to be patient with us during the process.

It's going to be a long recovery to rebuild all the Town servers and reload software, however, Town departments have adapted their processes to continue serving residents, and emergency services are operating as normal.
